Team History
Boston has long been home to athletes dedicated to the sport of Ultimate. In 1994, some of them formed a team that they called Death or Glory, a team committed to innovating the game and upping the level of play. Through the years, the names on the roster changed: younger players became veterans, new players joined, and older players retired. And a venerable few have been on this team since the very beginning. Yet this year's roster holds a unique place in the history of Boston ultimate. Through grueling practices, workouts, and tournaments during May and June, every man on this roster proved his talent and desire. As in the past, old rivalries were overcome in order to pursue the vision set in motion ten years ago, a vision of innovation, hard work, and love of the game, a vision that led to resounding success through the 90's but had recently faded. We are new team that plays under a storied banner: Death or Glory. Up it up.
