Team History
The Santa Barbara Condors ultimate frisbee team first took the field in 1974 and in 1977 they became the first National Champions in the sport. They repeated as #1 in 1978 and again in 1981. The Santa Barbara Condors are the longest running club team with the same name and background in the world.  Their dedication and quality of play continues to this day. The 1998 and 1999 teams were 2nd in the nation (the 1999 team was 3rd in the world). In 2000 and 2001 the Condors were National Champions. The Condors became Club World Champions in 2002.  The team looks to improve on their last two championship events: the 2003 UPA Championship and the 2004 WUGC, where they brought home silver each time.  Hopefully this trip to Sarasota will result in gold.
