Team History:
The largest rodent to ever walk the earth, Phoberomys Pattersoni
measured 9 feet long and weighed over 1500 pounds. Part
hippo, part beaver, Phoberomys dwarfs its modern day counterpart
Capybara, a South American rat weighing in at a mere 110
pounds. Reached for comment, a German professor describes
the enormous rodent: “Imagine a weird guinea pig,
but huge, with a long tail for balancing on its hind legs
and continuously growing teeth.” Phoberoyms had to
deal with the likes of huge flesh-eating birds called Phorracoids
and Purussaurus brasiliensis, a 40-foot long Amazon crocodile.
