Team History:
We'll quell all rumors here - Halibut is not Smelts. Smelts
was a rickety old day care center. Halibut is a
team blessed with the virtues of youth, athleticism and
beauty. But it is also a team built on a commitment to something
greater than any individual player. So we would like to
offer a heart felt, tender moment of thanks to the team,
because we wouldn’t be here if each person didn’t
play a very specific, essential role. We'd like to thank
Jeff for his secret cooler full of Gatorade. We’d
like to thank Jackie for her beer-warming prowess. Schmucker
for his insistence on Manshots and Stacy for entertaining
him. Grabowy for demanding only shots that hurt. Emily for
her irresistible gunning speed. Kallin for blurting out
personal pieces of information. Ratner for his absence.
Mike Lee for his one beer sunburn. Victoria for her butt
slaps. Sarah Russell for taking pleasure in killing lobsters.
Chris Clark for being friends with a lobster killer. Samantha
for swimming in the deep end and Mark for throwing her a
lifejacket. Rachel for her Jagermeister and Jack Daniels
tunnel vision. Lisa for her 8 am presence in the shortest
game in history, to 1. Tiffany for letting us know what
good pillow talk sounds like. Tom for the brilliance of
the Thank-You circle. Shankar for doing damage on Saturday
night. Joel for doing Sunday morning damage control on Judy.
But no thanks for Judy, just love.
