Team History:

Born in 1998 in the rolling green mountains of Vermont, Chinstrap has long been a serious playa' at Northeast coed tourneys, powered by a revolving-door roster, grounded in the belief that "we have never seen a ringer that we did not like." The original Knights of the Round Poach ("KOTRP") believed that Safety is critical and our #1 responsibility is to make sure that our own strap is buckled up nice and tight to avoid recklessness at all costs, both on and off the field. The KOTRP enacted the Chinstrap Penal Code and empowered the Chinstrap Safety Officer to issue swift and severe punishment for any and all safety violations, such as, lateness, forgetfulness, and poor spirit.

This year's edition has decided to take Chinstrap to a new level, with snap fasteners
from CT, RI, MA, NH, Maine, and NJ. Bringing in the young, the far away, the
imporverished, and even an old DoG, has made our game strong, and less reckless
than ever before. We will finally be at full strength in Sarasota, so we advise
our competition to not leave their own chinstrap flying in the wind.

Off the field, we are friendly folk, so don't be shy to stop by Chinstrap
Central for a cool mist. And say hello to our hostess with the mostess, the lovely Sydney. But pay attention to what she tells you, or be prepared to suffer the consequences.

Lastly, did you know that Chinstrap is a type of penguin? Well, neither did we, until this year. According to the internet (so it must be true, right?), these creatures actually exist and now reside on the front of our jerseys. It is refreshing to know both man and penguin can live by the motto "click it, or ticket." See you on the fields.
