Team History:
Those of you with a refined eye for culture will notice that our team name originated from the canon of romantic comedies. The Princess Bride, the largely underestimated chef d’oeuvre of Rob Reiner, was highly influential to us in the genesis of our team , just two years ago. ( “ Inconceivable!”) When Andre the Giant bellowed in his endearingly incomprehensible voice ‘ WE ARE THE BRUTESQUAD” , we were moved- some of us to tears- and we knew that we too, were the BruteSquad.

Thus far we’ve had a great season. Under the guidance of our intrepid leader Greg we had a good show at Easterns, Tune –up , Sectionals and Regionals and would have been fierce at Clambake, had they let us in the door.

We’re a motley crew of Brown, MIT, and U Mass players with a few key outside acquisitions along the way. We’re all about the umlaut and we’re really effin pumped to be here!
