Team History:
Blah, from South Bend, IN, is pleased to make its second
trip to Nationals in as many years sporting the largest
roster in UPA history (43 members).
Blah
is incessantly asked, “How do you deal with such a
large roster?” The answer is quite simple. Following
Captain Brad Weirich’s algorithm for team success,
we have the following:
• Those with long hair play every odd point, except
when the combined score adds up to 7, 11 or 21.
• Those with Camaro Mullets play when anyone under
the age of 36 is tired.
• Nick “the Jesus” Felicelli plays each
time sideline water turns to wine; QB plays anytime the
water is turned to beer; Dave “Hoffass” Hoffman
plays whenever the water is turned to beer and then to Milwaukee’s
Best.
• Blah members with six consonants in their last name
play exclusively in the second half
• Members who really like fruit punch drink boxes
play in the first.
• Offensive and defensive squads are chosen based
on posture.
• Male and female team members with a Household Income
(HHI) greater than 50K can play the first three points.
• Male and female members with a HHI less than 50K
may play points 4 through 7 pending private investments
(bonds, mutual funds, etc.)*
• Five team members cannot play because their favorite
color is blue.
*May
play the 8th point if there is a significant drop in short-term
interest rates issued by the Federal Reserve.
