Team History:
The team formerly known as Backhoe is having a revolutionary season. We have a new coach, new captains, new players, & some new dance moves. We thought maybe it was time for a new name…a harder task than we realized. We started with Flight but it didn’t get off the ground. We moved to Moxie but found out it wasn’t an original. There were so many strong contenders for the team name that we couldn’t choose (or, perhaps, agree on) just one. Names such as NC Hammer, Firebelly, Firehose, Mana, Flying Tricycles, Blue Flame, June Carter, Snap, Vibe, Tricky, Ringlettes, Southern Comfort, Dragon Fly, Lucky, Tribe, Superstars, Efland Ultimate, Ring of Fire A, Grits, Evil Twin, & Kitty Huck all represent our team in one way or another. Then came the epiphany…we don’t have to choose just one - we can have all of these names in ALIAS…
